Lisa Edelstein

  

Lisa Edelstein ( born May 21 1966) is an American actress and artist. Her role as Dr. Lisa Cuddy in the Fox medical drama series House M.D. is well-known. (2004-2011). From 2014 to 2018, Edelstein played Abby McCarthy on Bravo's Girlfriends Guide to Divorce.



 



 Early life



 Edelstein was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Bonnie and Alvin Edelstein, the youngest of three children of the family of a Jewish family. Her father was a Chilton Memorial Hospital Pediatrician. She was born in Wayne, New Jersey, and attended Wayne Valley High School, graduation in 1984.

She rose to fame in 1970s Broadway as Rizzo on Grease and later as Carol Traynor (played by Bea Artur) on Maude (1972-1978).   Cecily Legler Strong (born February 8th, 1984) is an American actress, comedian producer, singer, and actress. Strong is best known because she was a part-time cast member of the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live from 2012 to 2022.
